The new BLCK DMND casing strikes the balance between suppleness and extreme pinch-flat protection. In order to descend all-out, you need as much traction as possible. The tire needs to conform and hold on to the ground, but it also needs to protect against pinch flats. In order for this to happen, only the treaded part of the tire needs to conform, grip, and dampen, while the tire base serves up stability and support for better steering inputs. We improved an already proven tread by having more consistent shoulder blocks for better cornering traction, while the block spacing is configured for better self-cleaning. The tread of this 2Bliss Ready version is also slightly wider compared to the S-Works version, which protects the sidewalls and delivers additional cornering bite.
